Enjoy the charms of high tea, or a fresh scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam. We have an extensive variety of teas on our Tea List sure to suit your individual tastes. We import our teas from Ireland, England, Scotland, and   Our Traditional Ploughman's Lunch exotic far away places. Featuring Taylors of Harrogate, Rather Jolly, Bewley's, Barry's, and a variety of organic and green teas. We have a wonderful variety of scones, baked fresh every day. Our most popular, Young Edie's Fancy Scone, is filled with dried fruits and bits of white chocolate, with a light orange glaze. A traditional currant scone or a sweet marmalade filled scone with a pot of Yorkshire Gold will make your day seem just a bit better. Here at Granny McCarthy's, we bake our brown bread fresh daily using buttermilk, baking soda, sea salt and LIFEFORCE MILL grains and flour. Hearty foods made from old family recipes will give you the warm comforts of home. We make the traditional Cornish Pasty and some more contemporary favorites too. Our curry chicken & Basmati rice, smoked ham and onion, and the Gaelic & Garlic are worth the adventure ofstraying off the path of tradition. Our Auntie May's Shepherds Pie is a favorite among the young and Cornish Pasty old. Be sure to join us for delicious Fish-n-Chips, every Friday evening. Our special Guinness Batter and fresh cut chips will keep you coming back for more. Served wrapped in paper with malt vinegar and sea salt. Feel free to bring your own Guinness. Fish-n-Chips Celtic Breakfast is quite a hardy way to start your day served every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Fresh eggs, served with our own potato farl, griddle cooked tomatoes, Irish loin bacon, banger sausages, white and black pudding.
