In The Footsteps of St. Patrick
Donegal Square owner - Neville Gardner has been leading tours to Ireland and Scotland over the last 15 years. Our tours generally are in June or July leaving the US on a thursday and returning from Ireland on a saturday the week following. We usually focus on roughly one third to one half of Ireland each trip, and generally we’ll concentrate on the north one year and the south the next. In the recent past Donegal Square has cooperatively marketed our tour with Neville’s countryman and accomplished musican Gerry Timlin who owns the Shanachie Pub and Restaurant in Ambler PA. The combination of Gerry and neville as on board hosts adds a dimension that you wont generally find on a commercial tour.
Our next tour will focus on the Trail of St. Patrick, visiting Croagh Patrick in Mayo, Clonmacnoise Abbey and the cross of the Scriptures, in addition to the Giants Causeway and Downpatrick where both St. Patrick and St. Brigid are buried. As usual our tour wil feature great scenery, wonderful cuisine, lots of free time and great company. Estimated price for this tour wil be $3500 including the air, all the touring - dinner on 5 nights, and breakfast every morning at 4 and 5 star hotels.
